Advocacy for the Homeless
When Cuidando Los Niños was founded, everyone hoped that homelessness among children and families would be a temporary phenomenon locally and nationally. Unfortunately, family homelessness has increased statewide and nationally.
In order to address this growing problem, Cuidando Los Niños is part of a network of community organizations that are actively taking a stand to advocate at local, state and federal levels to improve the lives of homeless children and their families.
Individuals, faith-based organizations, and other groups are welcome to become a part of this action-oriented avenue of advocacy. There are many opportunities locally and statewide to get involved.
