Public Stewardship
We believe that we must be accountable to:
- volunteers who donate their time and energy
- donors who give us both money and specific items that we distribute to our families
- corporations and government agencies who award us funds so that we can fulfill our mission
- members of our Board of Directors who invest a long term commitment to guide and support our organization
- partnering agencies within our community that invest their time and skills through collaboration and follow up
- our community for their support and encouragement
- and, of course, the families who entrust in us their hope for a better future
Key to Accountability
We believe that the key to accountability is to develop and operate a high quality organization that fulfills its mission in the most efficient manner possible. To do this CLN has in place operating systems that help to keep us focused and on target with our mission and evaluation systems that measure the success of our organization through both quantitative and qualitative measures.
Our Commitment to Public Stewardship
As part of our commitment to public stewardship, we will be sharing information on-line about the organization’s finances and operations. All of these documents will be up to date and accurate so that the public may have full awareness of the quality of work that CLN is proud of.
